About Steak Your Claim
Our Story
Steak Your Claim started as a food cart in Portland, Oregon, founded by Matt Schiffman, where it flourished for five years. In 2023, Matt partnered with his longtime friend Ken Spost, a New York restaurant veteran. Then, in 2024, they opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Vancouver, WA.launched the first brick and mortar Steak Your Claim in Vancouver, WA.
Our Ingredients
We take great pride in using only the finest ingredients—ones we’d happily enjoy ourselves. Our rolls are sourced from Amoroso Bakery in Philadelphia, and we exclusively use choice ribeye for our cheesesteaks. Our house-made pastrami, crafted with care, has long been a customer favorite. Additionally, we offer both vegetarian and gluten-free options to ensure there’s something for everyone.
